چکیده
Mathematical patterns are an important subclass of the class of patterns. The main task of this paper is examining a particular proposal concerning the nature of mathematical patterns and some elements of the cognitive structure an agent should have to recognize them.

Neuro-ACT Cognitive Architecture Applications in Modeling Driver’s Steering Behavior in Turns
Cognitive Architectures (CAs) are the core of artificial cognitive systems. A CA is supposed to specify the human brain at a level of abstraction suitable for explaining how it achieves the functions of the mind. Over the years a number of distinct CAs have been proposed by different authors and their limitations and potentials were investigated. These CAs are usually classified as symbolic and...
متن کاملAnalysis of the Web User Behavior with a Psychologically-Based Diffusion Model
This work presents a new application of a mathematical theory of psychological behavior from Usher and McClelland and the random utility model from McFadden, to the web user behavior. The model describes the stochastic behavior of a general kind of web users, consisting of the probability of following a hyperlink for a specific length of time. The simulation experiment together with the artific...
متن کاملDichlorvos Induced AChE Inhibition in Discrete Brain Regions and the Neuro-Cognitive Implications: Ameliorative Effect of Nigella Sativa
Background: There has been a rise in accidental poisoning cases resulting from the indiscriminate use and exposure to Dichlorvos (DDVP), especially in developing countries, and no antidote with satisfactory efficacy is currently available. Thus, we investigated the AChE reactivation potential of Nigella sativa oil (NSO) following DDVP induced AChE inhibition patterns in the brain and the associ...
متن کاملQN-ACES: Integrating Queueing Network and ACT-R, CAPS, EPIC, and Soar Architectures for Multitask Cognitive Modeling
Comprehensive and computational models of human performance have both scientific and practical importance to human–machine system design and humancentered computing. This article describes QN-ACES, a cognitive architecture that aims to integrate two complementary classes of cognitive architectures: Queueing network (QN) mathematical architecture and ACT–R, CAPS, EPIC, and Soar (ACES) symbolic a...
متن کاملDesign of a novel congestion-aware communication mechanism for wireless NoC architecture in multicore systems
Hybrid Wireless Network-on-Chip (WNoC) architecture is emerged as a scalable communication structure to mitigate the deficits of traditional NOC architecture for the future Multi-core systems. The hybrid WNoC architecture provides energy efficient, high data rate and flexible communications for NoC architectures. In these architectures, each wireless router is shared by a set of processing core...
